At the start of their journey, leapV equips mentees with custom professional development plans designed to meet their unique career goals and skill-building needs. Each course added to a mentee's growth journey is guided by experienced mentors who offer valuable support through monthly coaching calls. That’s where you come in. Through these sessions, you provide real-world insights, actionable advice, and personalized guidance in a group format that accelerates the mentee's learning and expertise.

And the best part for you is that you don’t have to sell. Mentees are assigned to courses and topics you elect to mentor based on their needs and interests. This ensures that you have the expertise they need and WANT. And you won’t be expected to mentor outside your depth or areas of expertise. This creates the foundation for happy clients and profitable longstanding relationships.

Mentor payment

As a leapV mentor, you are paid monthly by the number of clients registered for your courses (whether they attend or not) and for any completed 1:1 coaching engagements. Your activity is visible real time in your mentor portal and you can see how your funds are accruing in real-time.

We also make accessing your funds easy. LeapV mentors accrue payments monthly and can withdraw money from their accounts at any time or amount. All funds paid are for services already rendered.

Mentors FAQ

Millions of people seek career advancement every day. They all need practical, tangible advice and support. We provide the strategy and knowledge and accountability tools they need; you provide real-world insights and encouragement that no app can provide. You’re matched with groups of people based on coursework and you organically build 1:1 mentoring relationships from there. You’re paid for both types of mentoring and if you do a great job, your clients will thrive in their careers and send you friends to mentor. You’re paid by course and by session, because payment is based on enrollment, there’s no limit as to how much you can make per class.

You are busy, we understand that. That's why we designed our program around efficiency. The time you invest will always be in your control as you set the timing for your monthly group and 1:1 sessions. The minimum you will spend is one hour per month and the maximum is at your discretion and the availability of courses that match your experience and interest.

We expect you to approach your leapV engagements with the goal of delivering excellence and to treat it with a high degree of importance, which includes: preparing for your sessions by understanding the course curriculum, being on time to all of your group and 1:1 sessions, and being present with your clients and interacting with empathy, creativity, optimism, and integrity at all times.

Mentees come from all walks of life. Most of our mentees are early and mid-stage professionals looking to grow their skills, get promoted, or change their career altogether. While some may be independent professionals or business owners, a vast majority will be gainfully employed individuals looking to advance more rapidly than their peers.

How much money you make depends on your interest, commitment, and availability. For a majority of our mentors, leapV is an incremental income source providing several hundred to several thousand in additional income each month. For many, the experience gained through leapV mentoring enables necessary skill-development as mentors are actively seeking to elevate their own careers, grow their network, evaluate if executive coaching is a future pathway for them, and/or ready themselves for profit and non-profit board positions.

LeapV is a digital application, and we make money from monthly subscriptions, from which we pay our mentors for monthly group mentoring sessions. In addition, we have a 50/50 revenue-share with our mentors for all 1:1 mentoring sessions.
